There are 18 Zone Story Quests in Deshaan. ![]() Completing these quests can award you with skill points, experience, gold, and gear. I found them lowkey horrifying when I was a kid, they were hella deadly with their poison and paralyze snake spells.Zone Story Quests are the main story arc for the zone. I know in ESO they're just seen as another group of Ashlander you can meet, but I remember in Morrowind you mostly only dealt with them in quests where they had kidnapped some travellers for ransom, or a quest where you had to find a guy who studied them, only to find out he had been killed and eaten by them. They also derived their powers from sacrificing men and the Mabrigash in Morrowind all had unique spells with refered to a snake/viper which seems like they worshipped, which I guess ties into the ESO stuff. Basically Mabrigash were Ashlander witches, and strictly only women, who REALLY hated men and were cannibals who ate men. In ESO they're just treated as a side faction of Ashlanders, and I believe they got male members too, but in Morrowind they were mainly an enemy faction. My memory is a bit rusty, but if I recall correctly they were introduced first in TES 3 Morrowind, where Mabrigash is an Ashlander witch that has been exiled from their tribe, which could be any of the original four tribes. ![]()
